  • Call, email, or visit our office
  • Request information about our products or services

The personal information we may collect includes:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Any other information you choose to include in a message to us

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or government ID numbers through this website. If we need that information to service your insurance needs, we collect it through secure, direct channels and handle it under our GLBA Privacy Notice.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically by our website platform and third-party tools, including:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website (where you came from before visiting our site)
  • Date and time of your visit

This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 4 for full details.

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries. When you submit a contact form or quote request, we use your information to follow up with you about your insurance needs.
  • To provide insurance services. If you become a client, your contact information is used to service your policies, send documents, and communicate about your coverage.
  • To improve our website. Website usage data (via Google Analytics) helps us understand which pages are most useful and how visitors navigate our site, so we can improve the experience.
  • For advertising and marketing measurement. The Meta Pixel helps us understand whether our Facebook or Instagram advertising is effective by measuring actions taken on our website after an ad is viewed.
  • To comply with legal obligations. We may process or retain certain information as required by applicable law, including insurance regulations and record-keeping requirements.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Insurance carriers and wholesalers. To obtain quotes or place coverage on your behalf, we share relevant information with insurance companies and wholesalers as part of the normal course of providing insurance services.
  • Service providers. We may share information with vendors who assist us in operating our website or conducting our business (such as our website hosting provider or agency management system), under written agreements that require them to protect your information.
  • Third-party analytics and advertising tools. Google and Meta (Facebook) receive automatically collected data through the tools described in Section 4. This data is subject to Google’s and Meta’s own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our agency, our clients, or the public.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our agency, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via a notice on our website or direct communication.

We have not sold or shared personal information with third parties for commercial purposes in the past twelve months, and we do not intend to do so.

4. Cookies and Third-Party Tracking Tools

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and collect analytics data. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect some website functionality.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics places cookies on your device to collect information about how visitors use our website — such as pages visited, time on site, and traffic sources. This data is aggregated and used to help us understand and improve our website.

Google Analytics may transfer data to Google servers in the United States. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

Our website uses the Meta Pixel (also known as the Facebook Pixel), a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram by tracking actions visitors take on our website after clicking an ad. It may also allow Meta to show our ads to people who have visited our site (“remarketing”).

The Meta Pixel may collect your IP address, browser type, and information about pages you visit on our website. This data is transferred to Meta and subject to Meta’s Privacy Policy. You can manage your Facebook ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences, and opt out of interest-based advertising more broadly through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing ones. Browser controls vary — check your browser’s help documentation for instructions. Note that disabling cookies may limit some website functionality. If you are a US resident with the right to opt out of targeted advertising, see Section 8.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Specifically:

  • Inquiry and contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, typically no longer than 3 years unless you become a client.
  • Client information is retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a period afterward as required by Georgia insurance regulations and applicable record-keeping laws.
  • Website analytics data is retained in accordance with Google’s and Meta’s data retention policies, which we do not control.

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because data is stored in backup archives), we isolate it from further processing until deletion can occur.

6. How Do We Protect Your Information?

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect, including:

  • Encrypted transmission of data via HTTPS/SSL on our website
  • Access controls limiting who within our agency can access client and contact data
  • Use of secure, industry-standard agency management systems
  • Staff training on data security practices

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will never be able to access, intercept, or misuse it. Transmission of information to and from our website is at your own risk, and we encourage you to use a secure internet connection when submitting personal information online.

If you believe your information may have been compromised, please contact us immediately at Privacy@rribaxley.com.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at perentz@rribaxley.com and we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

8. Your Privacy Rights

General Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:

  • Contact us to request access to the personal information we hold about you

  • Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw consent you have previously given us to process your information

To make any of these requests, email us at Privacy@rribaxley.com or call 912-367-1479. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer data privacy law — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia — you may have additional rights under applicable state law, including:

  • Right to know whether we are processing your personal data and what data we hold

9. Do-Not-Track Signals

Some browsers transmit “Do-Not-Track” (DNT) signals to websites. There is currently no uniform legal standard requiring websites to respond to DNT signals, and we do not alter our data practices based on DNT signals at this time. If a binding standard is adopted, we will update this policy accordingly.

For more meaningful control over tracking, we recommend using the opt-out tools described in Section 8 or adjusting your browser’s cookie settings.
